is a complete billing and invoicing program for small to medium size
organizations. You can set up your own billing rates and up to nine subtotal
categories. Several billing files can be merged into one consolidated bill. It
prints ledger cards and an audit trail of all billing entries. It prepares
detailed reports including aging reports, manage reports and more.

is a menu-driven invoicing system for small companies. It is easy to use and
saves data after printing invoices so the data can be analyzed. The system
allows for invoicing of products, services, time charges and credit memo's.
Other features include a sales program and an accounts program.

When we ran the access menu and selected 7 (the accounts) it gave us a "bad
command or file name" error, but when we run ACCOUNT3.EXE from the DOS command
line, it worked fine. We looked in INVOICE.EXE (the menu module) with LIST to
see if we could spot the file names being used by the program and saw
"ACOUNTS3.EXE". We renamed the file on the disk accordingly, and it works
fine. We do not think this will affect any other parts of the program. If it
does, then COPY ACOUNTS3.EXE ACCOUNT3.EXE and you will have one copy for each
name.


Fast Invoice Writer/Statement Writer

is a stand alone invoice writer which calculates and prints four invoice copies
(two invoices per sheet of paper), with each copy numbered one through four.
The program also automatically serially numbers each set of invoices.  Your
company letterhead may be printed at the top of the invoice and the built-in
SETUP routine allows you to enter your own printer's codes for printing the
letterhead in expanded or condensed characters.  There is also a city and state
tax field, and a third tax field that is user definable. You can print on
standard or condensed letterheads.

Also on the same disk is FAST STATEMENT WRITER 1.1. It is similar to the
invoice writer in operation and features. There are eighteen selectable names
for documents such as invoice, requisition, purchase order, etc., or you may
type your name.

Other features include a stand-alone 19-line invoice writer; prints #10 window
envelope payment return stubs; prints a new style invoice which may be folded
for a #10 window envelope; includes a stand-alone 25-line statement writer;
and more. You can pull information from the customer database into an invoice,
and print a mailing label from the database.

A cashbook summary, and summary reports can be printed. Invoice figures from
cash register type applications can be saved. A 16-line monthly statement file
similar to a VISA statement can be saved to disk, and a parts re-order sheet
can be printed. There are inputs for post office numbers, clerk's initials,
and type of sale. Invoices can be printed in three colors on the Epson JX-80.
Laser printers are supported on letterhead and horizontal lines.

Also included is MultiFile-XL, a mailing list program. This can also be used
for general database applications, and information can be imported into
programs above.

is a complete invoicing, billing and accounts receivable program for small
businesses. The installation and design of the program is aimed at the
computer novice, yet the program is very professionally done, from an
application viewpoint. The user interface could be improved: when making an
entry, we could not "cursor-up" to correct an error nor Esc to get out of the
entry. But these are minor points and the program is well done overall.

is a freeware invoicing system. It prints up to four copies of
professional looking invoices on 8.5"x11" plain paper or letterhead.
It allows up to 99 items per invoice. Invoices are automatically
numbered.

Customer and item data can be stored in files to reduce time spent on
entering information. You can print credit memos, an invoice register
with sales tax recap, and optional packing slips. Item price extensions
and sales tax are computed. A late charge notice can also be added to an
invoice. Requires 512K.

is a general invoice sales tracker for a small business. It provides all of
the income information that most Accountants need from a small business on a
monthly or quarterly basis, and a lot of other very valuable information for
the business owner. It can be set up to allow for individual State Laws. Other
features include a U.S. Postal abbreviations pop-up windows, support for
window envelopes and pre-printed business stationery for invoices and
statements, and the ability to print multiple copies of invoices. Requires a
minimum of 512K. A hard disk is recommended.

is a general invoice sales tracker for firms needing descriptive invoices
which include more than just numbers. This program provides all income data
required by most accountants. It prints invoices, statements, labels, reports,
and invoice and customer directories. It prints accounts receivable customer
statements with matching labels. It holds over one million records.

A browse mode is included for viewing customer invoice records, allowing you
to retrieve records by name or by number. A safety routine checks for free
disk space before saving a record to disk. Other features include a pop-up
postal abbreviations screen, the ability to use pre-printed business
stationery for invoices, statements and reports, the ability to use window
envelopes for mailing invoices and statements, clock, calendar, and more.
Requires DOS3+, 512K.


KisBill

multiuser, unlimited users, sales graph, dBase compatible, and the ability to
operate on most of the PC based networks. A simple database management module is
also included to provide you with additional means to modify, view or report on

250 customers.  Note: uppercase response is required to prompts (eg: "Y" is
recognized, "y" is not).


Rosewood Journal

is a sales journal and complete accounts receivable package designed for small
to medium sized businesses which record sales on serially numbered invoices.
One nice feature is its ability to generate a special report which gives the
amounts and indicates to which accounts sales, receipts, accounts receivable
and sales tax should be entered. The program is menu-driven and easy to use.

Features include a label print utility, an export utility which will translate
RJ data to five different formats (including Mailmerge and Lotus), long field
lengths for names and addresses, a list of all accounts receivable activity
for the selected month, and full screen data entry.


SPC-Accounts Receivable

is a receivables program that allows unlimited accounts and records.  SPC-AR
uses the Btrieve record manager, a programmer's add-in from Novell, that
provides instant retrieval of data without sorting and rock-solid data security.
In addition to the usual data fields, SPC-AR allows a large description field
that is useful for service-type businesses.

is a simple accounts receivable program. The documentation is very limited. We
suspect this is because the author thinks the program is so easy to use that
little is needed. This may be true once you understand the concept of the
program. Here it is, as best as we could figure it out: you can enter charges
(sales?) by date or by account number. (Press Insert to add new entries.)

If an account number, reference code or description that you enter does not
already exist, a scrollable window pops up from which you can select an
existing item or, by pressing Ins, you can add a new item. Press Esc to exit
any of these screens. Back at the main menu, you can also choose to enter
payments and print customer listings, statements or reports.

Once you get the feel of what is going on, the program is fast, efficient and
easy to use. Requirements for this program are 512k ram, hard disk or two
drives.

is a massive program for managing receivables. (It takes over 8MB of disk
space.) It lets you keep track of up to one billion debtors, services
rendered and payments received. It gives quick access to all historical
information.

It creates reports and stores dunning letters which it can merge with names
from the debtor database. You can use its internal accounts receivable
module or import data from whatever A/R program you are currently using.
